We have been in touch with the health department to gain some clarity on a couple of the issues, and with our pool company to have them rectify the issues in violation. They understand that this needs to be taken care of ASAP, and they have assured us that they are doing their best to handle the issues as epeditiously as possible. They will try to do as many of the repairs as they can at once, but please realize that each issue is a separate repair, and we will still need another health department inspection after repairs are completed.![]()

We apologize that we cannot give you an exact timeline for repair, completion and re-opening of the pool, we will keep you updated as we receive more information.![]()

We had an unscheduled inspection by Manatee County Health Department of our community pool today. We are not sure if it was a surprise inspection or a complaint was made. ![]()
At this time we have received the report that the health department has closed the pool for the following reasons:![]()

•The rubber grommets around the pool ladder have gone missing and need to be replaced![]()
![]()
•The seal has become cracked around one of the new pool lights![]()
![]()
•Since it was unannounced, the health dept did not have a key to get into the pool equipment and therefore it could not be inspected. ![]()

•The same pool rules sign that has been at our pool for many years and inspected many times does not state the deepest depth of the pool. ![]()
![]()
•On the positive, the chemicals were all found to be correct and the water itself was found to be safe. ![]()
![]()
We are awaiting an update from our pool contractor as to when these issues will be remedied. ![]()
